OK, I’m sure you can all relate to those lovely late night cravings and you keep walking back into the kitchen staring into the refrigerator or cabinets.
I was really trying to talk myself out of it tonight and I realize why I’m craving food right now too, it’s because I didn’t drink enough water today. So first I chugged some water, waited about 20 mins but still had that craving. It’s mostly because I’m going through sugar withdrawals as well and I just need to fight it a couple more days and the cravings will be gone!!!!
I know we have some left over cheesecake in the freezer from New Year’s Eve but I didn’t give in. I looked back in the refrigerator and found my unsweetened plain greek yogurt and decided to mix in 1 scoop of my Vi-Shake mix with 1/2 of the container of yogurt. YAY!!!!
It worked and it actually tasted like cheesecake too.
The cool thing about Greek yogurt is it’s about TWICE the protein as regular yogurt.
It’s low sodium, low in carbs, easy to digest.
DON’T PICK UP ANY greek yogurt though, most of the fruit one’s have ADDED SUGAR too.
Look at the label!!!
