As most of you know that follow me, especially on Facebook, that I switched meal replacement shakes several months ago. The reasons was I found a shake that is more affordable, tastes better, has lower sugar, carbs and sodium. I have an issue with sugars and carbs, even natural sugars where I just cannot lose the weight. I have to watch my intake.
I was first introduced to the product from a really good friend of mine. She has had amazing success from it!! I knew this product would not only help me but so many people I know so close to me. When I decided to make the switch, I received tons of hate mail messages from others, especially from my past company. Stating that I was using my prior weight loss success to “promote” and sell a product that doesn’t work. I know it works because I broke through a huge plateau in the beginning and my friend Patty lost almost 30 lbs in 90 days and she said it was one of the easiest things she has ever done. I saw a huge increase in her energy and she looked amazing!!! Her husband has had amazing success too!
So tomorrow starts Day 1 of my 90 day challenge, I have gained weight over the last couple months to prove to the people that tell me this product does not work. I didn’t gain this weight overnight, I didn’t do it in several weeks, it has been a while now. You can think what you want to on this one!
I can understand anyone that thinks this is dumb, but also look at reality, how many people do you know including yourself that lose weight and then start to slack off because they hit their goal. You think ok, I’ve lost all this weight now, I can add this food back in or I can cut back on my exercise. It’s a VERY common thing and this is also to show people how easy it is to put this weight back on if you don’t watch it. It’s a lifestyle change that you need to develop with any diet that you choose to do.
My purpose in life is to motivate others and to be the best I can be to help encourage a healthy lifestyle. I want to be as real as I can be too, if I hid this and then came out about it after I lost the weight, I think I would lose your trust. If you are upset with my decision, I know I’ll never be able please everyone.
I really want to do a program that others have access to so they can follow the program. OK, I’m changing it up, I am going to go back to a favorite! ChaLEAN extreme and it’s something you can do from home, so no excuses!!! You can either use workout bands which some come w/ the video or use free weights. I like the Bowflex SelectTech weights, amazing!!!! I will be doing the Body by Vi challenge for my meal replacement shakes and eating healthy snacks and a balanced meal, check out my grocery list for ideas on foods.
